Woith Engineering, Inc. has been working with the Great Falls Housing Authority to complete replacement of 3,423 lineal feet (lf) of water main lines, 2,339 lf of sewer main and relocating the overhead power to underground transmission lines and services. Also included in this project was the replacement and reconfiguration of sidewalks, roadways, and parking areas to bring them up to current accessibility standards. Woith Engineering, Inc. worked diligently to blend the project constraints of the desire to maintain the historical preservation and the modern requirements of sidewalks and the parking area. The project was all completed while maintaining the functionality of the site and not displacing residents. Upon completion of the second phase of the project, the Montana Contractor’s Association presented the team with the 2014 Concrete Excellence Award.
